Craig Walsh challenges the idea of public monuments and how we represent history. By using unique light projections, Craig makes the natural spaces we live and move around in, come alive. During the festival Craig will bring his work 'Monuments' to Toowoomba using the canvas of our city's majestic trees to feature the faces of two extraordinary, living people.
The two faces that will be projected on the trees are The Mulberry Project’s Louise Noble and Friends of the Escarpment Parks Toowoomba John Swarbrick.
Craig Walsh is renowned for his work at live events, including Australian and International music festivals and art festivals. Over the recent years Craig has used his digital art expertise to enable community collaboration in large scale artworks both in Australia and abroad.
